Abstract
=========
A number of online communities currently support TRANSIMS: the Texas A&M listserv, transims-opensource.net, and Sourceforge. Transims-opensource.net experienced a significant outage in 2009. In late 2009, FHWA asked the Volpe Center to research other hosting options. Key requirements include both user and developer discussion forums, good search capability, a wiki with TRANSIMS documentation, a link to Sourceforge, and a blog with news events. We present the results of this research with recommendations.
