Basic Purpose |
| |
The Environmental Science Division of Argonne National Laboratory, located 25 miles southwest of Chicago, Illinois, is seeking a postdoctoral candidate with a Ph.D. with an emphasis on terrorism, terrorism-related incident analysis, and/or WMD threat analysis.
The candidate would compile and analyze information pertinent to the illegal diversion, theft, and trafficking in radiological material. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of and research experience in one or more of the following areas: domestic and/or international terrorism, radiological material security, and/or WMD threat analysis. Familiarity with relational databases and/or geographic information systems would be beneficial but is not a requirement. The position is for one year, but is potentially renewable for up to three years.
