Job Description
  Basic Purpose
  Will assist engineers and physicists in the design and development of superconducting radio frequency cavities. Will fabricate, calibrate, operate, test and repair a wide variety of complex electrical/electronic and/or mechanical equipment and devices. Has the ability to work unsupervised or with a minimum of supervision on processing superconducting radio frequency cavities including chemical processing, ultrasonic degreasing, high pressure rinsing, clean room assembling, vacuum leak testing and facility maintenance.

Two-year Associates degree or equivalent plus 5 or more years related experience in superconducting RF cavity processing. Highly qualified candidates for the position will have: 1. Good demonstrated experience with ultra-high vacuum system operation and assembly. 2. Good Class 10 (ISO Class 4) clean room experience. 3. Good strong corrosive or caustic material handling experience. 4. Good skill in complex mechanical device assembly. 5. Good computer skills. 6. Good verbal and written communication skills.
