Job Description
  Basic Purpose
  Provides secretarial and administrative support in the Division. Responsible for preparing correspondence, reviewing mail, and scheduling meetings, and travel arrangements for division and theory group personnel. Contributes to the smooth daily operation of the Division Office. Acts as back-up to the Executive Secretary.
   
  Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  Considerable
Knowledge of secretarial science and modern office practices and record keeping. Knowledge, skills, and experience MS Office including one or more word processing packages, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation applications. Skill in organizing a variety of tasks and work assignments in order to meet deadlines. Skill in verbal and written communication. Knowledge of English grammar and usage. Interpersonal skills and ability to interface with diverse internal and external sources. Attention to detail and function in a fast paced environment. Considerable skill in scheduling foreign and domestic travel and meeting arrangements.
  Good
Knowledge and skill in using internet browsers. Knowledge of proper Web page structure and layout.
  Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
High School Diploma and 8+ years of related work experience or equivalent
