Job Description
  Basic Purpose
  Assist the Design and Drafting Manager to operate the AES Design/Drafting Department and maintain the engineering drawing database (using Pro/Interlink). Enforce standards of Pro/E models and AutoCAD drawings produced in the department. Provide technical direction and oversight for models and drawings. Develop and enforce document control within the engineering database. Work with engineers, designers, and technicians to insure that "As-built" drawings are controlled in the engineering drawing database.
   
  Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  Considerable
Considerable knowledge of Geometrical DIMENSIONING and TOLERANCING applications. Considerable knowledge in Pro/E assembly/part modeling and generating drawings from 3-D solid models. Considerable knowledge of Pro/Interlink database management system. Considerable experience in producing mechanical/machine and component designs. Considerable knowledge of fabrication processes and technology.
  Good
Good knowledge of AutoCAD. Good decision making abilities to be able to devise design standard procedures. Good writing skills to set standard procedures for the design of APS component.
  Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years work experience or equivalent
